Retreading
The process of retreading your tires requires special tire retreading equipment. When your tires are retread, they are first buffed to remove the old tire tread. Then, a new tread is applied, using our professional state-of-the-art equipment, to the buffed tire. Retreading is a very cost-effective way to provide the same traction, stability, safety, and handling of tires that have never undergone this process. Often times tires can be retread multiple times.
This process not only saves you money and offers new tread but is also a great way to dispose of tire tread in an environmentally friendly way. The removed old tread can be used in a rubber mulch mixture, and you reuse the tire casing under the new tread without purchasing new tires. If you make sure to take the same care of the retread tires as brand new ones, including regular tire maintenance and correct air pressure, you are sure to receive the same performance value as tires that have never been retread. Be sure to come see us at Tire Factory when it is time for new tires or retreading service, we will in no doubt save you money through this process.
